The education room is situated on the ground floor in the Mill and has disability access.  The room measures 6m x 4m approx. and can accommodate 10-12 participants. Classes are run by makers themselves and can be booked direct through the respective maker websites, details of which will be advertised on the Mill’s website. 

 The Mill charges per day or half day rental for the space, and the makers organize, advertise, and take bookings for their own classes. To date, thousands of students, creatives, budding enthusiasts and hobbyists have attended classes at the Mill, learning skills such as; fine embroidery, silversmithing, lino and wood cutting for print work, silver clay creations, oil and water based painting, woodwork, living willow sculpturing, lampshade creation, fused glass work, working with drift wood and much more.   

  The education space may also be hired to host more business related or non-creative/maker needs, such as holding off-sites or small conferences or meetings.  

2023 Rental for the Education space starts from £45 for a half day rent, £75 for Daily rate, up to £350 for 5-day rental – outside of school term and when available. For Sundays, due to shorter hours, (11am to 4pm), rental is available for the day rate of £65.
