Creating functional pottery for your home and office

Jan started throwing pottery in her twenties in Canada. She was completely smitten with the creative process and after honing her skills, she set up a studio and a ‘bricks and mortar’ shop with her best friend.
Life dictated a different path to follow but a decade ago Jan returned full time to throwing and creating contemporary functional ceramics. Five years ago, Jan set up her dream pottery studio in Southbourne.
Jan states, ‘my pottery style has changed and I have embraced colour but my passion remains constant! Producing pottery brings me such joy and it is my wish that this joy is passed on to my customers through my ceramics when the pieces are seen, handled and used by them every day.’
