Since my long hike back to my birthplace in Yorkshire from Portland, a year and a half ago, following the death of my Mother, I began questioning my heritage and where I had come from. A DNA test revealed that I am Viking. My artwork has shifted to research into ‘The Final Journey’. A collection of ceramics and paintings as a direct response to my life now, and in the future, an awareness of my ancestry and heritage.
