Meet the Maker - Sonnaz "my work, business and the importance of creativity"

Join us at Walford Mill, Wimborne for an inspiring evening as we welcome Sonnaz to the Mill as part of our Meet the Maker programme. Viewers of BBC’s The Repair Shop will recognise Sonnaz as one of the show's resident Experts, regularly tasked with restoring treasured items back to their former glory.

When she’s not working in The Repair Shop barn, Sonnaz runs her own company providing a full interior service to individuals, businesses and organisations, from loving restorations of single pieces of furniture to full interior design projects.

Trusted by household names including Lush and National Trust, Sonnaz has built a reputation synonymous with craftsmanship and sustainability. With the launch of her new home and lifestyle brand, House of Sonnaz towards the end of 2025, her goal is to set an example of sustainable, ethical manufacturing in Great Britain.

This in-person event will take place in the Little Pickle at The Mill Café and is an opportunity to learn about Sonnaz’s creative practice, commercial nous and some of the defining moments in her successful career to date. It’s an unmissable evening for anyone interested in upholstery, furniture restoration, interior design and how to balance commercial and creative success.

This Meet the Maker event is part of our new community programme, 'Mill Meets', funded by Dorset Council. Tickets include a drink and canapés.
