In 2004 Sarah graduated from Bath Spa University with a Fine Art degree and specialism in Sculpture.

Sarah founded her company ‘scalpel and paper’ after leaving a successful decade teaching Art and Photography to focus on her own practice.

A lifelong collector of curiosities, Sarah can often be found rummaging through antique shops, turning what she finds into imaginative works of contemporary mixed media collage which are sometimes thought provoking and poignant and other times playful and humorous.

Sarah is also Walford Mills part-time Children’s Education Coordinator and teaches a wide variety of art and craft Children’s Holiday workshops, CREATE afterschool clubs and also collaborates with the local Dorset community on our Outreach Education Programme.
