Donna Jean Peters is a printmaker, artist and educator from Maryland, USA. Donna came to the UK to undertake a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, after which she also completed an MA in Illustration.

Donna's work is experimental, eclectic and largely humorous. She experiments with materiality printing on unexpected surfaces producing work beyond the frame in a variety of scales. Donna takes inspiration from her surroundings, nature and life experiences, producing illustrative drawings in an exciting array of mediums. Donna often works to briefs but also likes to let inspiration take her.

Donna teaches printmaking, art and design at both Higher and Further Education levels. Some of her classes are held on-site in our loft studio Printroom.

The Printroom at Walford Mill is a fully operating print facility. It offers educational workshops, open access to various printmaking techniques, and professional services for editioning, design, and equipment rental.
