Screen Printing onto Polymer Clay to make Jewellery Workshop
6th October 2024

with

Sarah Ricketts

About the workshop

Come and enjoy a full-day workshop at Walford Mill in Wimborne where Sarah will teach you the process of how to screen print patterns onto polymer clay using mini silk screens to make your own jewellery designs. She will start by showing you how to use the silk screens to create the patterns onto the clay using acrylic paint. You will then cut out the clay using a range of shaped clay cutters and then bake the clay ready to finish your creations.

You will be able to make earrings and pendants during your session. Materials will be provided including a choice of silk screen patterns, acrylic paint, clay cutters, paint brushes, necklace chains, charms, and earring components, plus sample ideas to follow for inspiration. (Clip-on earrings can also be supplied, please notify me when booking if required).

No experience is needed, just pop on an apron or some old clothing in case of paint splatters.

There will be a £10 materials cost payable on arrival and any extra clay, necklace chains, earring findings or charms used in the workshop may be purchased on the day for an additional charge.
