Papercut Workshop

My papercut workshops are held at Walford Mill Crafts in the heart of idyllic Wimborne in Dorset. Your workshop begins with a warm welcome where I’ll introduce the basics of papercutting – the tools you’ll be using and the ideal weights of paper to cut. You’ll then work through a simple practise sheet to get your scalpel skills up to speed before embarking on your main design which you choose on the day from a gorgeous selection of exclusive designs. You’ll learn about the differences between a positive, negative and ‘half and half’ templates and the best way to embark on cutting each type.

We spend the rest of the workshop happily chatting while cutting our papercuts and we really get to know each other during the course of the workshop. They are always a lot of fun, and I pride myself on making everyone feel welcome, safe and relaxed. You won’t want to leave!
