Using a simple skirt block you will create an individual surface design using any of a range of techniques such as applique, patchwork, embroidery, hand-painting and tie dyeing.

Stitched Textiles with Madeline Millington

Create fabulous stitched wall hangings in the technique of cut back applique using recycled and dyed blankets and stitching with brightly coloured thick wools.

Basketry for Beginners with Kim Creswell

During this one day workshop, designed for complete beginners, students will each construct a round basket using farmed willow, with the option of incorporating some different coloured hedgerow willow.

Shibori in Colour with Tiggy Rawling

A day to explore Japanese Shibori, the art of stitched, folded and wrapped cloth. Students will work on small sample sized pieces and the prepared cloth will be dyed with Procion Dyes.

Create a Willow Goose with Kim Creswell

Students will work with Kim to each create a life size willow goose using Somerset white willow. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those with experience in willow work.

Garden Bird in Wire with Mel Day

Using an exciting array of wires from reclaimed telephone cable to colour enamelled copper, students will create a British Garden Bird. Make a Sparrow, Crow, Finch or Blackbird. Starting with a strong framework, students will add in fine wire to make a complete 3D bird.

Animals in Wire with Helen Godfrey

During this one day workshop you will learn techniques for creating a three dimensional small animal form of your choice using wire netting.

Woodcarving with Rachel Huggett

During this two day course you will be taught the basic skills of wood carving through a step by step learning process. At the end of the workshop students will take home a carved wooden panel that they can display in the home or the garden.

Garden Obelisks and Mini Hurdles with Kim Creswell
