Paper is a beautiful medium to work with. Sher's approach is to explore the permanence that can be created by manipulating a medium that is assumed to be fragile and transitory. Her passion is to create truly 3-dimensional forms from something flat. Sculpting with paper alone and nothing else is part of what makes her work unusual.

Characters fascinate Sher and she sees the world 3-dimensionally: that is, the relationship of one object to another and their interaction. Constantly intrigued by design and construction, she aspires to surprise and captivate in her own unique style using the beauty of paper.
