CREATE, Dorset's premier contemporary craft show has quickly become one of the South West's leading craft shows, after the success of the first event in 2007. Visitors and exhibitors were highly impressed by the quality of the show and expressed their feelings of the event with the following comments;

The demand and support CREATE received last year encouraged Walford Mill to make it an annual event. The show will take place in a large marquee in Walford Mill's courtyard on
9th, 10th & 11th May this year.

Through CREATE, Walford Mill Crafts aims to give its existing and new visitors the opportunity to view and buy high quality work directly from creators themselves, and to find out how all this amazing work is created. Walford Mill Crafts is also an Education Trust and has a strong emphasis on encouraging children, young people and adults to learn new skills in crafts. At Create, through demonstrations, workshops and the opportunity to talk to creators, Walford Mill offers visitors a hands-on approach to investigate and enjoy high quality craftwork.

CREATE, will house well-known local and national creators who will be exhibiting their high quality, mixed media creations at this event.

There will be demonstrations in blacksmithing and willow sculptures as well as workshops for families throughout the weekend.
